This edition was released comfortably during the author’s lifetime right around the time of the author’s famous intervention in the Socinian controversy. Another edition which printed a further six sermons was released later the same year but is a distinct work from this first edition. That later edition which contained twelve sermons is common in commerce, but this first edition is very rare indeed, both institutionally and in commerce. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eStrangely enough, the pagination and signatures begin at p.321 and Y1, but this is as the work was originally issued, with its own independent general title page; the BMC records a similar copy.
