Terms and Conditions

For any and all enquiries, please don't hesitate to Contact Us. We will reply to email the fastest, and our usual operating hours are from 9am-6pm, seven days a week. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, though when experiencing a significant quantity of enquiries this may extend this time frame.

Sell To Us Enquiries

If you are a business or individual interested in selling book(s), printed material, manuscripts, etc to us, please get in contact through our Sell To Us page. Our contact preference is email, as we would like to see at least 4 photos of the item(s) in question. We are mainly interested in books from between 1470-1900 as our main specialty is antiquarian books. We have a list of the authors/books we are most interested in purchasing on this page. We can also take books on consignment to sell on your behalf. Our rates for doing so are flexible, and we have many different strategies we can use to help you get the best price, sell the item(s) the fastest, or look to achieve whichever outcome you desire.

Payment Methods

Our payment methods are detailed at the bottom of our website. Most purchasers choose to pay with a debit or credit card, but we can also accept American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Discover, PayPal (including PayPal Credit, subject to approval), Maestro, Mastercard, Union Pay, Visa, etc. Many of our items are also offered via other sales platforms such as eBay, Biblio, in-person fairs, etc where other payment methods may be accepted.

Billing Terms and Conditions

We do not accept cryptocurrencies, Amazon Payment, Wire Transfer, Cheque or e-Cheque, Cash, COD payments, or any others not listed here, unless stated otherwise. We can, under some circumstances, accept cash payments - for example if we are hand delivering items to the purchaser due to their value, or if we are attending book fairs. We are also able to accept bank transfers in certain circumstances, though in such a case it will take longer for you to receive your purchased item(s) due to clearance times.

Prior to shipment, the entire value of the order must be paid for and credit cards must clear any authorisation processes, and will be charged at the time of the order.

When we are required to do so by local or international regulations, sales tax will be added to the value of the order and is due at checkout. This is in addition to the purchase price of the product(s) subject to an order. This is also the case for any charges related to the international export of our product(s), such as import duty, and any other related charges. If purchasing books or unframed manuscripts, maps, etc, then these products are rated at 0% for VAT in the UK and so there will be no VAT added to the sales price. We are not responsible for any additional charges incurred after the initial order(s) has/have been made and paid for. All additional charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Regarding returns, WoodPaz Books Ltd will not pay for return postage/shipping unless we are at fault as described in our Returns Policy. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item(s). No COD shipments will be accepted as a viable return. For more information on our returns policy, see Shipping & Returns.
