A beautiful 17th century folio King James Bible in a lovely contemporary Cambridge panelled binding with a particularly attractive bifold map.

Condition: 

[(1), *-**6, bifold map, A-Z6, 2A-2Z6, 3A-3M6, 3N-3O4, a-u6, X4, A-C4, D2, (5)].


Very attractive full calf binding with a red tooled label in a compartment to the spine between raised bands, other compartments with decorative gilt, boards in Cambridge panelled design. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed with some marks. Both boards attached, joints & hinges a little cracked. Shelf and edge wear. All edges gilt. Main title leaf laid down, partially detached but extant. Text block generally clean with light toning and some scattered mild foxing. Ink inscription to front blank. Some occasional closed tears and small holes. Occasional marks. Ink inscriptions to rear blank. An excellent copy of a 17th century folio KJV Bible.
