Size: 365 x 560 mm (approx.)
Condition:
[(2), 14 ff. (7 maps), (2)]
Half brown calf over marbled paper backed boards with a paper label to the front board. Pencil shelf mark (?) to the bottom of the label. Each board has two strips of marbled paper, thus not exactly matching but being of the same pattern and colouring, one half being more dulled than the other on both boards. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed with few very minor marks. Due to its large and thin size, it does not stand upright and should be stored flat; this is not from any defect of the binding, rather its natural dimensions. Shelf and edge wear. Spine cocked. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Endpapers prominently foxed with some marks. Contains seven large maps which spread out across two leaves, thus containing 14 leaves of maps, and four endpaper leaves. Maps are in great condition with hand colouring, and sporadic very minor foxing and/or marks. Page edges foxed.
