Uniform contemporary full calf, spines finely stamped in blind and decorated in gilt, lacking tooled labels, spines a little discoloured, rubbed, with minor losses at extremities. Boards rubbed but attractively presented. Joints cracked, some historic restoration to joints. All boards attached, front board to second volume fragile. Shelf & edge wear. Bookplate to front pastedowns. Generally very bright and clean throughout the text blocks, some mild foxing to some leaves as typical, heavier foxing to extremities of page blocks, including title pages. Gilt turn-ins are bright and attractive. Uncollated.
