Full cloth binding with an earlier red morocco fragment with the gilt title. Small parts of the cloth backstrip lacking and peeling. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed. Both boards attached with joints and hinges starting, somewhat fragile. Bookplates attached to the front pastedown and front blank. Ink inscription to the reverso of the title page reading "38720". Text block fairly clean with light toning, some foxing, and occasional pencil marginalia. Occasional library blind-stamping leaves. Toning and offsetting to blanks. Blind-stamp to a small number of leaves.
