Half calf with red tooled label between raised bands outlined in gilt. Spine evenly sunned with very minor rubbing. Tooled label with very minor loss to extremities. Both boards securely attached with reinforced hinges. Boards scuffed and rubbed with loss. Shelf and edge wear, more so to corners, with some loss. Page edges with some toning and a damp stain to the top page edges which has seeped through onto sporadic pages. Ink ownership inscription to the head of the ffep. Some foxing to endpapers. Text block very clean with some toning and occasional foxing.
