[Translated]: To the most distinguished and most learned Mr. Adrian à Boschveld, Doctor of Both Laws, Councillor of the Republic of Haarlem, a man most highly deserving of the Republic of Letters. Given and dedicated by Johannes Bosch.

Contemporary full vellum, fresh and clean condition, title in neat MS to head of spine, later sticker below with shelf reference. Both boards securely attached, binding secure. Bookplate to front and rear pastedown from the New York General Theological Seminary Rare Book Room and a stamp to the verso of the engraved title of the Peabody Institute Library Baltimore, Maryland (USA). Collates complete. Text mildly toned else generally very clean throughout.
