Antique King James Bible 1648
The Holy Bible. Cambridge: Printed by Roger Daniel, 1648.
A fantastic early King James Bible printed in 1648. A lovely example for being in completely unrestored original condition in a rather uncommon full vellum binding. A rare early printing of the KJV in Cambridge.

Contemporary full vellum binding, rubbed and scuffed with some wormholing. Shelf and edge wear. Binding warped and worn, with the page block gatherings misaligned and some loosely attached. Ink inscription to the rear board. The headcap and tailcap have fragments lacking. Lacking the main title page and blanks (including pastedowns), as often, otherwise collates as complete. Text block fairly clean with light toning and occasional foxing and marks. Ink inscriptions to both sides of the New Testament title page. Some minor edge tears to leaves.
