Provenance:

Family registry of the Denner Family dated between 1810 and 1898 to the verso of the general title leaf and to the verso of p4 in the Apocrypha.

Size: 180 x 230 mm (approx.)

Condition:

[(1), a-x4 (-a1, b3), A2, B-Z4, 2A-2Z4, 3A-3O8, 3P4, a-o8, p4, A-S8, T4, A-F8, (1)].

Full brown calf binding with a decorative blindstamp to both boards and a tooled label to the spine. Tooled label peeling on the left side. Binding rubbed and scuffed. Both boards attached with cracked joints and hinges, thus very fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Red spotted page edges dulled, top edge somewhat darkened as often, and with some scratches. Text block fairly clean with light edge toning, sporadic foxing, small dampstaining in a few inner margins, and occasional marks. Main text of the Bible collates as complete including the general and New Testament titles. Provenance inscriptions to the verso of the Holy Bible title page, and to the verso of p4 of the apocrypha. Occasional repairs to leaves and some leaves with minor loss, some of which resulting in a small loss of text. Text block trimmed, thus affecting occasional headlines.

*The Book of Common Prayer lacks the title page (a1) as well as b3, and any other leaves after x4 if called for.

**The Whole Book of Psalms should collate with the signatures A-G8, H4; thus our copy lacking G8, H4 (possibly blanks?)

[OCLC 45711864, 45711867].
