-------------------
An absolutely massive King James Bible from the famous Clarendon Press, VERY RARE, we could not trace any examples of this edition in this huge format. Perhaps this was a printing of this edition done just for churches/monasteries etc, particularly given that this copy was bound for use in St Thomas' Chapel.
This is certainly the largest KJV Bible we have had to date, such that we had to order in some larger boxes to accommodate it!

Some edge and corner repairs to leaves with no loss to text or sense. Last few leaves of the text block detached. Shelf lean, does not stand vertically. Generally very clean throughout text block. Text a little offset to each page as typical, less so towards the centre of the book.
