Full navy calf with a red tooled label in a compartment to the spine between raised bands, bands lined with gilt, and gilt and blind-stamped borders to both boards. Binding rubbed and scuffed with some scratches and marks. Tooled label with some cracks and chips. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints and starting, hinges cracked, thus somewhat fragile, but fully useable/readable. Shelf and edge wear. Gilt page edges scuffed and with some marks. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions, the Family Register section is blank. Text block very clean with some toning and occasional foxing, some leaves more toned than others. Some offsetting. A lovely Bible with numerous fine engravings throughout and with some coloured plates.
