Full brown tree-calf bindings with red tooled labels to spines in compartments between raised bands. Bindings show nicely, lightly rubbed and scuffed with few scratches. All boards attached with rubbing along joints, some starting, and cracked hinges. Page edges toned with few marks. Shelf and edge wear, most prominently to the heads and bottoms of the spines. Ink ownership inscriptions to the front pastedown and front blank in volume one. Front blanks loosely attached with parts detached. Frontispiece in volume one lacking bottom outer corner of the leaf. Frontispiece in volume two with some tears. Title page in volume two torn with loss. Occasional small tears and loss to leaf edges. Text blocks fairly clean with light toning and some foxing, and few marks. Some wormholing to the first few leaves in volume two. Tear to the front blank in volume two. Ink inscription to the blank space on the reverso of 2S2 at the end of the Apocrypha. Tear to 10M2, not affecting any text. Wormholing to the last few leaves in volume two.
