Undated title page, but the National Library of Scotland and WorldCat suggest the dates of 1860 and 1861; the referenced copies posses the same pagination, but the WorldCat reference has a different number of plates (one of the plates has a date of 1861 which is not present in this copy), and thus this seems more likely to be the 1860 imprint.

Provenance:

The family register has ink inscriptions spanning across the four pages, and includes an ownership inscription on the first blank reading "Emily Holmes ? Park ? January 12 th 1883".

The register begins with a marriage entry, handwritten in gothic style font, reading "William Roberts & Emily Holmes. at Rushall. Staffs. on July 2nd 1885. Witnessed by these persons. J. D. James Curate Charles C Thomas & Hannah Garbelt".

The next entry discusses the births of the couple as well as others in multiple hands, reading "William Roberts February 28th 1860", Emily Roberts nee Holmes March 17th 1863", "Edith Emily Sept 16th 1886 Thursday evening at 9"45", "Lillian May 5 1889", &"John William June 15th 1891 ? 9 a.m."

There is only one registered death in the register, it reads "John William Roberts Dec 9th 1881 Aged 5 months".
