John Phelipps (d.1766), Vicar of Yeovil. The collection of the Rev. John Phelips (by descent) was dispersed 8-9 October 2007 by Lawrences Auctioneers; this sale presumably included this copy.

18th century full panelled calf binding, gilt stamp to front board described under provenance. Tooled morocco label to spine. Binding rubbed, a little worn, minor splits to joints at extremities. Blanks toned and creased. No attached bookplates. Generally exceptionally bright and clean throughout the entire text block.
An excellent very well preserved copy.
