The Greater Concordances of the Holy Bible, Newly Revised and Corrected with the Greatest Care, and Enriched. Johann Froben. [...] Basel, 1525.

-------------------

An early Bible Concordance printed by Johannes Froben in the mid post-incunable period. This is an edition which was mostly used in early Protestant circles, printed within just 8 years of the start of the Protestant reformation. Johannes Froben was an important printer who was closely associated with Erasmus. According to Beatus Rhenanus, who was one of his employees, he published only prominent works and despised the lesser ones. VERY RARE, USTC records only 29 extant copies and this is the only copy we can trace in commerce, with only two copies held in the UK (both at the British Library) and NO COPIES HELD IN THE UNITED STATES.
