Provenance:
All volumes contain bookplates, inscriptions, and library stamps from the Repton School Library. The books were a gift to the school from the author bearing his gift inscription: "For Repton School Library with all best wishes from William Sinclair, Archdeacon of London. Chapter House, St. Paul's Cathedral. 23 May, 1902." The bookplates also bear the inscription "Presented by Archdeacon Sinclair (O.R.) May 1902".

Spines with very minor rubbing and discolouration. All boards but the front board of Words from St. Paul's securely attached with minor wear to joints and hinges, some starting. The Front board of St. Paul's has a cracked joint and hinges, and thus is partially detached to the top. Boards with very minor sunning to edges and with very minor rubbing and marks. Very minor shelf and edge wear. Page edges toned with minor foxing. Very minor pen marks to the page edge of the Psalms. Leaf edges of Simplicity in Christ are unevenly trimmed. Bookplate attached to front pastedown in all volumes. Pen gift inscription on the preliminary page in all volumes. Library stamp to the title page in all volumes. Text blocks very clean with light toning and very sporadic very minor foxing.
