A manuscript, being an early witness to the Catechetical School of Alexandria referencing Clement, Origen, and Pantaenus, circa 1250, possibly Paris.
-------------------
An important early witness to the Catechetical school of Alexandria, mentioning Pantaenus, Clement, and Origen, and particularly mentioning Clement's Stromata, the earliest extant witness of which is circa the 11th century. This MS being c.1250 makes it an extremely early witness to the Early Church Fathers of the Alexandrian school, and its contents are of particular interest which are sure to profitably reward study. Produced during the medieval scholastic period, contemporaneously with St. Thomas Aquinas.

Which is thought to be after the apostles, in Alexandria, Pantaenus. But through the order of Clement, Origen, his disciple, administered its boundaries. When Clement was working on the Stromata, he also recorded at that time which books, and in the theatre, he designated them. Toward the end, for indeed he extended it for convenience. From which it is certain that time itself holds these very things, which now are preserved in marble.
