-------------------

David Copperfield is a novel written by Charles Dickens and first published in 1850. The story follows the life of the titular character, David Copperfield, from his childhood through to adulthood. It is widely regarded as one of Dickens' most autobiographical works, as many of the events in the novel are based on his own experiences. The novel deals with a wide range of themes, including poverty, social injustice, and the struggle for personal growth and fulfilment. It is considered one of the greatest works of English literature and has been adapted into numerous film, stage, and television adaptations over the years.
