Condition:
Bound in the original green cloth. Spine sunned with minor creasing, marks, and wear to extremities. Both boards loosely attached with front joint and hinge starting, and rear joint and hinge cracked. Rear board loosely attached with mesh. Boards with some uneven sunning to extremities, very minor scuffing, superficial scratches, rubbing, and marks. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges toned. Pencil inscription on ffep. Pen ownership inscription on preliminary. Frontispiece and engraved title page prominently foxed. Text block very clean with light toning to edges and very sporadic very minor foxing. Plates toned prominently around edges and with some foxing. Small number of plates with small damp stain to the top edge. Leaves numbered 165 to 172 partially detached. Some leaves are shorter at the bottom than others.
