An excellent copy, beautifully finely bound by R. Nelson in full red morocco with spine compartments & boards lined in gilt, all edges gilt. Spine a little dulled and rubbed. Joints very slightly rubbed, uncracked, with both boards securely attached, the binding secure, and without shelf lean. Minor shelf and edge wear. Top edge a little discoloured as typical else edges remain very good. Without any attached bookplates, binding signed at bottom of ffep. Text block very clean and bright, mildly toned as typical, else internally fine. Light ex-bookseller pencil inscription to foot of ffep. A very nice copy.
