A very rare fantastic example in its original first state dust jacket.

-------------------

A beautiful example of this rare first edition first impression in its original dust jacket with all required first impression bibliographical points (pp.25 'it had do to with', pp.75 'shoeleace' misspelling, pp.134 'Boofy' for Duffy) in its original first state dust jacket.

Size: 13.5 x 19.5 x 2.5 cm (approx.)

Condition:

An excellent example with the book near fine and a very good dust jacket.

The book itself is externally near fine with a slight bump to the head of the spine the only defect taking the binding from being fine. Some minor marks to top page edge which are not particularly intrusive. Without any bookplates or ownership inscriptions but with some partially erased pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper verso from a previous bookseller. Two leaves throughout the page block with creases at corners from being folded over and placed back, else the text block is near fine/fine with some very mild toning. Collated as complete in 257pp numbered.

Dust jacket externally very good. Some chips at extremities with some loss at head of spine panel at top rear corner. Spine panel with some mild toning and light wear. Toning to rear panel as typical. Front panel shows very nicely. Inside of dust jacket with some toning as typical though better than typical. Approx 2cm tear at top of rear panel of dust jacket just above the portrait photograph.
