[(3), 2pp., frontis, t.p., v-xx, i-lxxiii, 571pp., 1pp., (3)].
Half brown calf binding with gilt title, location of publication, and date to the spine in two compartments between raised bands, other compartments with decorative gilt. Binding light rubbed and scuffed. Appears to be lacking marbled paper from the boards. Both boards attached with front joint and hinge cracked, very fragile, and the rear joint and hinge starting, somewhat fragile. One of the three binding strings attaching the front board is cracked. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled. Text block very clean with occasional foxing. Very small ink stain to the white space on pp.274. A small number of leaves have been unevenly trimmed to the rest of the text block so have been folded over to fit in, thus causing some minor creasing to some leaves.
