Full brown calf binding. Lacking tooled label. Binding rubbed and scuffed with small parts of leather lacking from the front board. Both boards attached with joints and hinges cracked, leather somewhat peeling in places, thus somewhat fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Shelf lean, but remains upright. Page edges toned. Text block parted where the foldout plates are folded. Pastedowns lacking. Front blank detached and with a pencil ownership inscription. Text block very clean with edge toning and occasional foxing. Plate between pp.36 and pp.37 detached. Very small wormholing to the rear blank and rear board. Small hole from pp.35-45, affecting some text. Plates creased and with edge toning and occasional edge tears. Occasional very minor edge tears to leaves.
