Condition: 

[half title, frontis, engraved t.p., t.p., vii-xvi, 1ff. (errata), 624pp.]

 

Half navy calf over marbled paper backed boards with a dark brown tooled label between raised bands. Binding rubbed and scuffed, more so to extremities and spine. Tooled label rubbed. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints, the front hinge cracked and rear board starting, somewhat fragile. Shelf and edge wear. No shelf lean. No attached bookplates. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. All plates present as listed in the List of Plates. Plates oxidised and lightly foxed.
