  • "shewed" and "shew" for "showed" and "show" error pp.40 lines 16 and 17
  • "delight" for "joy" error pp.284 5th and 6th line from the bottom

Half calf binding over marbled boards. Spine a little rubbed but shows well. Joints slightly rubbed but generally very good with boards securely attached. Binding slightly cocked but without shelf lean. Boards scuffed with some loss to corners. Shelf wear. Bookplate to front pastedown of James Murray Wilson. Text fairly clean with illustrated plates oxidised and foxed as typical, including the frontis and engraved title page. pp.87-90 detached at foot but present. Collated as complete including the half title though lacks final original blanks.
