As Dr No was the first James Bond movie to be released for many Bond collectors this is the book people want above all others. Here is a nice example of the second impression of the first edition in its original second impression dust jacket with the desirable front board with the dancing girl silhouette

Original black cloth binding with silver title to the spine. Spine near fine with minor discolouration. Joints fine with boards securely attached. No shelf lean. Boards with some edge discolouration but generally remain very good. A few blue ink spots to page edges and a bit of foxing. Endpapers foxed. Clean through the text block without any significant faults.
Dust jacked toned with some discolouration and wear to extremities and joints. Some losses at extremities, notably at the head of the spine panel where the top part is detached at the sides. Not price clipped with the price showing as "13s. 6d. net". Foxing to reverse side of the dust jacket with the spine panel more heavily toned.
