16th Century blind stamped pigskin over wooden boards with clasp remnants. Comes with a clipping of the book's details in German.



Size: 17 x 11 x 5 cm.


Condition: 

Prominent wear and marks on spine and boards. Engravings on boards still present and visible. Minor wear to headcap. Shelf wear. Damage to top edges of boards. Dulling to page edges. Name inscribed on page edges. Lacks title page and some preliminaries (text starts ay CC1). 8 leaves unnumbered; 414 are numbered. Lacking FF2 and all after FF6. Damage to pastedown. Pen inscription to front pastedown. Two stamps on rear pastedown. Stamp, pen inscription, minor marks, foxing, and prominent tears (very loosely attached) to first page. Prominent tears to page 15. Minor tears to a handful of pages throughout text block. Text block with light toning, minor foxing, and very sporadic very minor pen inscriptions.
