A beautiful copy in a contemporary full vellum binding in lovely condition, abundantly illustrated with various geometrical diagrams as one might expect. This edition is particularly notable for its inclusion of Liber XVI which includes the discussion of polyhedra which isn't usually found in early editions of Euclid.

Full vellum binding with a handwritten ink title and date to the spine. Binding lightly rubbed and scuffed with some discolouration and marks. Both boards securely attached. Shelf and edge wear with the side edges turned-in. Page edges toned and discoloured as often. Page block very attached loosely to the binding with spine and page block separation, and only attached with few thin strips of paper; more so detached at the rear; thus very fragile. Text block fairly clean with edge toning and occasional foxing, some leaves more so than others. Rear blank detached but present. Overall a lovely copy, significantly better than typically encountered.
