The Life of Blessed Giovanni Colombini of Siena, Founder of the Order of the Poor Gesuati, composed by Feo Belcari. [...]. Printed in Siena by Calisto and Francesco di Simione Bindi, 1541.

-------------------

This is the first Sienese edition of The Life of St Giovanni Colombini of Siena by Feo Belcari. Giovanni Colombini was a rich merchant and senator of Siena who abandoned his lifestyle for a life of poverty, Christian service, and evangelism. It was first printed in 1477, this is the third overall edition. There are some very nice historiated woodcut initials to the A1 verso & A2 recto and verso, as well as the fine engraved title page.
