This is a beautifully produced collection of coloured illustrations of locations throughout the area of the Holy Land including pressed flowers beautifully arranged, each taken from the corresponding locations depicted.
Locations depicted include: Jerusalem, Mount Zion, Siloah, Rachel, Hebron, the Mount of Olives, Jordan / the Valley of the Jordan, Mount Carmel, Tiberias, Saffed, and Mount Hermon.

Condition:
Original inlayed wood binding which reads 'Jerusalem' to the front cover with the same in Hebrew written below. Minor scratches to wood and light wear at extremities as expected. Front joints cracked with both boards attached; the rear secure with the front fragile. Without any attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Page block toned throughout as typical. Tissue guards foxed, offset, and heavily toned, but with the coloured illustrations and pressed flowers all very good or better. A very attractive bound collection of coloured views of the Holy Land.
