Very finely bound by "Truslove & Hanson" in beautiful quality full morocco.

Fine full blue morocco binding with gilt tooled title and author to the spine in compartments between raised bands, and a gilt date to the bottom. Spine sunned and lightly rubbed. Both boards securely attached with very minor wear to joints and hinges. Boards lightly rubbed and bowed. Shelf and edge wear, more so to corners. All page edges gilt with the fore-edge painting somewhat showing through, and visible properly when the leaves are spread. Lacking ffep. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the binding. Minor foxing to the first few leaves. Text block extremely clean with very occasional foxing. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions.
