A beautifully bound Greek New Testament. This is volume two only (of two) and contains the full text of Acts to Revelation in the canonical order, and so does not contain the four Gospels. The binding is particularly notable, being very finely bound in full black morocco, finely stamped in blind in the manner of the Sombre Binder.
We do not have a title page or colophon for dating this printing, and so the date provided is our estimate, based on known Greek New Testament printings in this format as per WorldCat. The typeface means it was very likely printed in London (potentially Paris?) and the binding was almost certainly done in London. The endpapers are watermarked but undated.

Near (or) contemporary full black morocco binding very finely stamped in blind in the manner of the Sombre Binder. Gilt repeating motif to board edges, else without gilt decoration. Binding a little rubbed, joints and hinges uncracked with both boards securely attached, the binding secure, and without shelf lean. Page edges dulled, a little discolouration in places. Name label to front pastedown, partially loose, else without ownership inscriptions etc. Some foxing through the text block with the first and last few leaves being the most affected, generally very clean throughout, mildly toned. We couldn't find a reference for this exact edition, but it appears to collate as complete with no lacking leaves, for this volume, which is volume two only of two, containing Acts to Revelation only.
