Condition:
In the publisher's pink cloth binding with gilt character designs. The binding is very bright with minor sunning at the edges. Both boards securely attached with minor wear to joints and hinges. Shelf and edge wear. Binding warped with a cocked spine - see the final image. Top page edge gilt, other page edges toned with some foxing. Minor toning to endpapers as commensurate with the placement of the dust jacket. Ink gift inscription to the verso of the frontispiece. Text block extremely clean with light edge toning and very sporadic foxing. Small tear to the bottom of pp.29/30. Uncollated.
Dust jacket in excellent structural condition as pictured. Some minor marks, discolouration. In a removable clear protective sleeve.
