Condition: 

Spine rebacked with very minor rubbing to head and bottom. Gilt on spine shows well. Both boards attached with joint and hinge starting. Original boards with minor scuffing, rubbing, scratches, and marks. Shelf and edge wear with prominent wear to corners. Toning and marks to page edges. Pastedown replaced. Bookplate attached to front pastedown. Pencil inscriptions on front pastedown and ffep. Pen inscription on the reverso of the frontispiece. Text block cracked between frontispiece and title page. Frontispiece and title page with toning to edges. Frontispiece lightly transferred onto title page. Text block fairly clean with toning and minor foxing.
