Attractive modern half calf over marbled paper backed boards, tooled red morocco label laid down to upper spine, gilt date to foot. Spine sunned, binding slightly rubbed, minor shelf and edge wear. Later blanks and pastedowns. Acquired by the previous owner circa the 1980s, some pencil notes to the front pastedown from that bookseller (Maggs?). Internally very clean and bright throughout, frontispiece portrait extant, advertisement page present at the end. A very good copy.
