Matching full calf bindings with gilt titles in compartments to the spines between raised bands. Bindings lightly rubbed and scuffed. All boards attached with rubbing along joints. Shelf and edge wear. Spotted page edges somewhat dulled. Slight shelf lean but volumes remain upright. Bookseller bookplates attached to the front pastedown in both volumes. Ink gift inscription to the front blank in both volumes. Endpapers foxed. Text blocks very clean with occasional foxing. Frontispiece lightly transferred onto the title page in Holy Living.
