Half dark brown calf over cloth backed boards with a red tooled label in a compartment to the spine between raised bands. Binding rubbed and scuffed. Boards lightly warped. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints and wear to hinges. Shelf and edge wear. No shelf lean. Marbled page edges dulled. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Some leaf edge repairs to pp.13-16 with minor losses (pictured).
