Full vellum with a very faint ink title to spine, illegible. Binding somewhat worn with rubbing and marks. Both boards attached, both hinges cracked with some backstrip and page block separation. Page edges toned. Front pastedown paper detached from the inside of the board. Blanks present with some edge tears and very loosely attached. Small tear to the bottom of the joint of the engraved title page. Text block extremely clean with very occasional foxing and sparse ink underlining. Title page with an ink ownership inscription and very light pink colouring. Very small wormholing to the last few leaves from pp.397, text remind easily legible.
