Full brown calf with a red tooled label in a compartment to the spine between raised bands, other compartments with decorative gilt. Binding rubbed and scuffed. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints, and front hinge cracked. Shelf and edge wear. Red spotted page edges dulled and toned. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Very minor wormholing to the front and rear pastedown. Minor dampstaining to the top page edge corner. Edge repair to pp.317/318, not affecting text.
