Full brown calf with a tooled label in a compartment to the spine between raised bands. Label rubbed and worn with loss of gilt. Binding rubbed and scuffed. Both boards attached with cracked joints and hinges, thus fragile. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges toned. Small loss of paper from the front pastedown. Ownership stamp to front blank. Text block fairly clean with edge toning, occasional foxing, some marks, some minor wormholing, and occasional dampstaining. Frontispiece remounted.
