Condition:
Modern cloth binding with a gilt title to the spine. Binding rubbed and with some marks. Spine has "1816" in gilt, which is the date of the voyage setting off. Both boards securely attached. Slight shelf lean. Page edges dulled and toned. Binder's sticker to front pastedown. Repair to the gutter of the title page and between pp.2 and pp.3. Text block fairly clean with light toning and some foxing, and some edge repairs. Lacking all plates but one map titled "Chart Shewing the Track & Discoveries of His Majesty's Ships Alceste & Lyra, in the Eastern & Yellow Seas, With the adjacent parts from the best Authorities." Uncollated.
