Contemporary full calf bindings with titles and volume numbers finely tooled in compartments to the spines between raised bands, other compartments with repeating floral motifs in gilt. Bindings rubbed and scuffed with some marks. Some minor loss of leather to the rear board of volume one. All boards attached with cracked joints, wear to hinges, the front board of volume one very loosely attached thus very fragile, other boards somewhat fragile. The bottom of the spine and front board of volume five dampstained. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges dulled. No attached bookplates. Text blocks generally very clean with sporadic minor foxing. Uncollated.
