A fully signed Nirvana promotional photo from their Nevermind period, dated 1991, including the signatures for Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Kurt Cobain.
RARE. Signed material of Nirvana which includes Kurt Cobain is increasingly rare on the market. Evidently the band signed a few promotional photographs similar (and the same) to this one around the time of the release of the album Nevermind (1991), all on the David Geffen Company promotional photographs.
Another example of this same promotional photograph fully signed (but a worse example with the Kurt Cobain signature faded/light) sold at RR Auction 14th December 2017 lot 2496 ($3,588). Another different example of this same promotional photo fully signed sold for $8,000 USD (Gotta Have Rock and Roll, December 7 2024, lot 31), and other similar examples have ranged in auction results from ~$5,000 to ~$16,000 (RR Auction 14th March 2019 lot 4739 - $16,079 USD, a similarly sized signed promotional photo).
