Full calf with red tooled label and gilt tooling to spine. Spine rubbed with a crack to the backstrip and some loss. Both boards attached with joints and hinges starting. Boards scuffed and rubbed with some loss of leather to the front board. Shelf and edge wear. Dulling to page edges. Slight shelf lean. Ink inscriptions to front pastedown and front blanks. Pencil marks to rear blank. Text block fairly clean with light toning to edges and occasional foxing. Edge toning to endpapers as commensurate with the binding.
