-------------------

Though not a particularly important edition of Milton's Paradise Lost - though it is a fairly early edition of it, this two volume set is special for having two beautiful fore-edge paintings depicting natural landscapes in bright colours and really surprise one upon opening them. When we acquired this set we didn't know that there were fore-edge paintings, and so we were quite surprised when we came across the paintings as they are bright and particularly beautiful!
