Contemporary full vellum binding, a little limp, spine dulled as typical, with contemporary ink title to upper spine and a small fragmented label reading 'H', presumably a shelf reference. Top edge dulled, else edges very good. Binding secure with hinges uncracked. Some interesting manuscript binder's waste used in the binding, visible at pastedowns. Small faded stamp, probably ecclesiastical, to verso of frontis, with a small pencil inscription above this, no attached bookplates. Another stamp and ink inscription to first title page . Text block toned throughout, but fully legible never with loss of sense to text. Minor dampstaining to rear few gatherings. A lovely copy of three rather rare theological works.
