An attractive set of the important Clarendon Press edition of Plutarch, here with the five volumes bound into ten. This was one of the great achievements of late 18th-century classical scholarship and provides both the Greek text alongside Xylander's Latin version, as well as various notes, commentary, indexes, etc. This was the most influential early modern edition of Plutarch's Moralia and his other works aside from the Lives.
