Contemporary full black gilt panelled binding, somewhat rubbed and scuffed with very minor loss of leather to the rear board. Both boards attached with rubbing along joints, starting, and some wear to hinges. Boards slightly warped. Shelf and edge wear. Page edges gilt. Ink ownership inscription to front pastedown. Ink inscriptions to reverso of the ffep. Text block very clean with light toning and occasional foxing. Some minor dampstaining to blanks.

First part of the collation refers to text on the Holy Communion and some Psalms (Psalm 1 to Psalm 150), and the second part of the collation refers to the Whole Book of Psalms as well as some prayers which are listed at the Table at the end. The two complete books of Psalms use two different translations. Only the second Book of Psalms has a title page.
