Contemporary full calf with the spines with compartments separated by raised bands, with the volumes numbered twice each in gilt. Bindings slightly rubbed, more so along the joints, but with all boards securely attached. Boards very good or better, a little loss to the rear board of the first volume. Shelf and edge wear with some losses at corners, with the bindings secure and without shelf lean. Endpapers toned as commensurate with the bindings. The text blocks are very clean throughout both volumes, with some very mild toning, else, remain internally excellent. A fantastic set pertaining to early Christian apologetics.
