A lovely edition of St. Thomas' commentaries on the Pauline Epistles, the best edition of this which had been printed up to this point, here attractively presented in a full vellum binding.

Full vellum binding, title in MS ink to head of spine, old label to foot with shelf reference mark. Stain to rear board, seemingly from wax. Binding rubbed with some discolouration. Structurally secure with both boards securely attached. No attached bookplates, but with some old ink inscriptions to the title leaf with an old now illegible institutional stamp (pictured). Text block bright and clean throughout, last two leaves (blank & colophon) with minor dampstaining in outer margin.
